Rot and Assimilate... or hopefully not

This blog aspires to combat the growing trend of misogyny, racism, and other bustedness in industrial (and goth and related) music and videos. We recommend reading the first entry on this site to understand our reasons for analyzing and criticizing. We also make posi posts about music that is not oppressive and jacked.

We welcome discussion and constructive criticism. After all, even the authors don't agree with each other on everything- although they are both unusually tall and agree on a lot.

NOTE ON COMMENTING:

We now moderate comments before posting. We post most of them that are not absolutely awful, but this blog has attracted neo-fascists, extreme racists, misogynists, and abusive haters, and we don't feel they deserve airtime. Dissenting opinions are ok provided they don't fit into the extreme versions of the previous categories and haters are even ok sometimes if their comments aren't full of homophobic slurs from 1985. At least be more creative.

Why Image Descriptions?

Descriptions under images on our posts are for blind or sight-impaired visitors using screen readers, allowing them to get a fuller experience of the post. We're currently in the process of updating past posts with image descriptions. All future posts will contain them. Apologies for any delay.
